Terri Lee Suggs, 65, of Van Buren, passed from this life to the next on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in Fort Smith with love surrounding her and a peaceful goodbye. She was born November 7, 1958 in Fort Smith to the late Jackie and Katherine (Row) Suggs.
Terri was an RN with a BSN and a long career in pediatric nursing. She worked at St. Edwards, Arkansas Children’s, and several more. Her life was devoted to case management and caring for others like her beloved parents until their passing.
She loved cross stitching, crafting and decorating. Every year she cross stitched ornaments for her kids. She loved music and dancing and is free to dance once again without pain. She loved elephants, Miss Piggy, and the ocean. Purple was her color.
She loved her children and grandchildren more than life, and was delighted by every conversation. She was a good woman, who faced her battles with bravery until the end. She lived and loved fiercely. She left us on her own terms and own time, and will be loved forever.
She is survived by a daughter, Adrienne Morstad (Trevor) of Casper, WY; a son, Austin Suggs (Amber) of Mulberry; a brother, James Suggs (Lori) of Van Buren; three grandchildren, Niko Maxey, Daphne Morstad, and Trenton Morstad; a handful of well-loved nieces; her Aunt Glenda Rayner; and her dogs, Sugar and Pepper.
Family-hosted memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 at Concord Baptist Church. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
