He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Mays.
He is survived by two sons, Tommy Mays, Jr. (Allyson) of Bixby, OK, and Nelson Mays (Mindy) of Chabihau, Yucatan, Mexico; his mother, Doris (Jones) Mays of Van Buren; a sister, Debra Russell (Roy) of Van Buren; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
