Tommy Watkins

Tommy F. Watkins, 64, of Mountainburg, AR, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 in a Rogers, AR hospital. He was born August 2, 1946 in Turner Community, AR. He was the pastor of Graphic New Hope Regular Baptist Church, the owner and operator of the Graphic Store, in Graphic Community; he was also a retired bus driver for the Mountainburg School District and former Justice of the Peace for Crawford County.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; two sisters, Betty Madison of Fort Smith, AR and twin sister, Laura Key of Van Buren, AR; two brothers, Edward Watkins of Muskogee, OK Donald Watkins of Mountainburg, AR; seven nieces and four nephews and also survived by a number of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel with burial at Cain Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Wesley Watkins, Greg Madison, Johnathan Deaton, Derek Wilkinson, Elias Wilkinson and Nick Bond. Honorary pallbearers will be his coffee drinking buddies at Dee’s Restaurant in Alma.

Family will receive with friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
