Tonya Lynn Taylor

Tonya Lynn Taylor, 55, of Mulberry departed this life Tuesday, September 22, 2026. She was born January 24, 1971 in Orlando, Florida. She was a proud member of Mount Zion Regular Baptist Church of Mulberry. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus and free from life’s struggles.

Tonya will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. She was a kind, loving, compassionate soul whose laughter was a contagious, unforgettable cackle that would light up the entire room. She was fun-loving and goofy and those honored enough to know her are truly blessed for having experienced her fullness. She had a way of getting words mixed up or saying things completely backwards often without realizing how funny she was being. One specific time was an inside joke just for her daughters . . . Parkers Prisoners! A funny, perfect memory.

She was preceded in death by her stepfathers, Robert Edward Taylor and Danny Foster; a brother, Jimmy Dale Taylor; and a baby sister, Tammy Taylor.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Bryan Taylor of the home; daughters, Ashley Love (Coty) of Brookland, and Kimberly Taylor of Van Buren; two granddaughters, Karsyn Walker and Kamryn Driver of Brookland; five four-legged children, Dexter, Lucy, Lil Bit, Red, and Precious; her mother, Virda Foster of Alma; her father, Harvey Woodford of Florida; brothers, Robert Taylor (Sherry Beth) of Trumann, Casey Woodford of Florida, Harvey Woodford of Alabama, and Dallas Foster of Osceola; sisters, Laurie Walls (Mark) of Alma, Patricia Cowden (Art) of Manila, Crystal May (Michael) of Manila, and Jessica Foster of Dyess; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Family-hosted memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Mount Zion Regular Baptist Church at 8115 Old Hwy Road, Mulberry with committal at Hight Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

To know her was truly to love her and she will live on in our hearts and memories, and we shall cling to those for the rest of our days. Until we meet again, rest in the arms of our Savior.
