Virginia Andrade Aguilar

Virginia Andrade Aguilar, 64, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026 in Little Rock. She was born December 20, 1961 in Puruándiro, Michoacán, Mexico. She had worked for Van Buren Health & Rehab.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. Dolores Andrade; two sisters, Gloria Andrade Aguilar and Maria Andrade Aguilar; and two brothers, Maurilio Andrade Aguilar and J. Dolores Jr.

She is survived by three daughters, Idele Padilla, Gisela Padilla, and Nealli A. Padilla, all of Long Beach, California; a son, Rudy Padilla of Long Beach; her mother, Etelvina Aguilar of Mexico; her brother and sisters, Roberto Andrade Aguilar, Juana Andrade Aguilar, Sofia Andrade Aguilar, Josefa Camerina Andrade Aguilar, Argelia Andrade Aguilar, Silvia Andrade Aguilar, Lorena Andrade Aguilar, Azucena Andrade Aguilar, and Rosa Andrade; and four grandchildren, Rudy Padilla Jr., Ben A. Padilla Erazo, Roman N. Ruelas, and Daphne Heredia.

Funeral Mass will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Van Buren with interment to follow at Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Rudy Padilla, Daniel Catillo, Martin Gonzalas, Blas Onofre, Ben A. Padilla Erazo, and Roman N. Ruelas.

Rosary will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026 with the family visiting with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
