Virginia Lee Earls, 71, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 20, 2011 in a local hospital. She was born December 1, 1939 in San Francisco, California. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and loved life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Dorothy Bancroft; a daughter, Lucinda Earls; two sons, Kelly Earls and Clarence James Earls; and a brother, Jerry (Bud) Hazelwood.
She is survived by her husband, Melburn J. Earls of the home; two daughters, Janice Plucinski of Montana and Barbara Stout of Van Buren; four sons, Melburn W. Earls of Oregon; Daniel Earls of Indiana, Michael Earls of Oregon, William Earls of Oregon ; a sister Edith Frazer of Oregon; a brother, Kenneth Bancroft of Florida; twenty-two grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
There will be no services. Mrs. Earls was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
