Walter William Craven

Walter William Craven of Rudy, AR was born on January 25, 1968 in Downey, CA. He was 43 years old when he entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 19, 2011, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Nichole Arnold of Alma, AR; a son, Walter William Craven Dyer of Cedarville, AR; his parents, Larry Robert Craven and Marty Craven of Rudy, AR; paternal grandparents, Ervin Robert and Helen Craven of Fort Smith, AR; maternal grandmother, Irene Baldwin of Rudy, AR; two grandchildren, Eli Jerrell and Alexis Arnold and numerous relatives throughout the country.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, AR. Burial will be held privately under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Wally attended Alma and Cedarville schools and on February 22, 1985, before finishing high school, Walter and Sherry Shelly of Van Buren, AR, were married. They had two wonderful children during their marriage whom he loved very much and his daughter gave him two lovable grandchildren.

Wally loved playing football during his school days. He loved going camping, fishing and boating. He later received his G.E.D. He was a kind person who would befriend anybody. He was generous and would help anybody. He never met a stranger.

The family of Walter William Craven would like to thank all of you and the ones who could not be here, for your many kind thoughts and prayers and to remember Wally as the kind loving thoughtful person he was.
