William Joseph "Billy" Fondren

William Joseph “Billy” Fondren, 39, of Alma, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 in Van Buren. He was born November 1, 1976 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He was preceded in death by his father, Garry Gabbard; and an infant daughter, Hailea Fondren.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Fondren of the home; eight children, Rosa, Destiny, Emilea and Kailea Fondren of the home, Michaela, Austin, and Sebastian Sepmoree of Texas, and Accliee Huddleston of Arkansas; his mother, Sereta Behrens of Rogers; five sisters, his twin, Shawnda Luna of Pea Ridge, Tallulah Gabbard of Stigler, Alice Welch of McCurtain, OK, Ashley Stewert of Springdale, and Wynema Brumley of Alma; five brothers, David Gabbard of Porum, OK, Travis and Shannon Roberts of Rogers, Justin Gabbard of Rogers, and Cody Gabbard of Siloam Springs; and three grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Justin Gabbard, Matthew Brumley, Shannon Roberts, Travis Roberts, Buster Fondren, David Gabbard, and Cody Gabbard.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
