Carmencita Tan Marasigan passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 28, 1955, in the Philippines, Carmencita built a life filled with love, dedication, and joy. She later became a longtime resident of Los Angeles, California.
Carmencita worked as an accountant, a profession she carried out with diligence and integrity. Beyond her career, she embraced life wholeheartedly. She loved playing mahjong, singing her favorite songs, dancing with family and friends, and watching movies that brought laughter and inspiration. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her devoted spouse, Jessie Marasigan; her brother, Francisco Tan; her sister, Milagros Reloquio; her nephews, Chester Tan, Dexter Tan, and Michael Reloquio; and her nieces, Michelle Reloquio and Athena Tan.
She was preceded in death by her nieces, Ceres Tan and Myndel Reloquio, whom she cherished dearly.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Funeraria Del Angel Van Nuys, 5940 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401, on March 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Carmencita’s legacy of love, generosity, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
