It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Consuelo Trujillo Meza, who departed this life on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Teuchitlán, Jalisco, Mexico, Consuelo built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Consuelo worked in housekeeping and was a devoted member of her church community, where she sang joyfully in the choir. Her passions included watching movies, dancing, taking long walks, going to the beach, cooking delicious meals, and most of all, spending cherished time with her loved ones.
She is survived by her children: Eduardo Hernandez, Richard Trujillo, Elizabeth Serna, Carolina Welch, and her son-in-law Christopher A. Welch.
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Jesse D. Romo, Giovanna E. Romo, Angel N. Serna, Pricilla F. Flores, Lexie C. Welch, Christopher R. Welch, Lilah G. Welch, Wenzday Munguia Hernandez, and Bonita Palacios Trujillo.
Consuelo was blessed to see a great-grandchild, Alcides E. Romo, who brought her immense joy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Van Nuys, 5940 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401.
Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
