2 Timothy 4:7
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day."
Our beloved Doris Elizabeth Medina entered Heaven's gates on December 27, 2024 at the age of 70; after a courageous battle against Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
Doris faced her five-month battle with stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer with an unwavering faith in God that served as her anchor. She found strength in prayer and scripture, knowing that God was by her side through every challenge. Doris inspired her family and friends by reminding them that God’s love was greater than any obstacle, and her trust in His plan gave her the courage to face each day with grace.
Doris was born in Atescatempa Jutipa Guatemala and was 1 of 8 siblings. While living in Guatemala she enjoyed spending her days with her family. In May 31 1975 she married the love of her life, Saul Guillermo Medina. They had 3 kids who she loved with all of her heart. She has 6 grandkids they are 5 boys and 1 girl who loved their grandma dearly.
With a spirit as vibrant as her smile, Doris had a unique gift for making everyone feel special. Her laughter was contagious and her hugs could heal the deepest wounds. She was fiercely devoted to her husband, sharing a bond that was a true partnership, built on love, respect, and mutual admiration. They created a wonderful life together, raising three children and welcoming numerous beloved grandchildren, all while making precious memories that will last a lifetime.
As a mother, Doris was our guiding star. She nurtured her three children with boundless love, teaching us the values of compassion, resilience, and faith. Each of us carries a piece of her spirit, her strength echoing in our decisions and our lives. She was our confidante, our greatest cheerleader, and our fiercest advocate, always encouraging us to chase our dreams while reminding us of the importance of family. Doris was not just a mother and grandmother; she was the beating heart of our family, an endless source of love and support.
Beyond her family, Doris was a friend to many, known for her compassionate heart. She was always eager to lend a helping hand. She touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving an unforgettable mark on our hearts. Her kindness, her wisdom, and her never ending support will be profoundly missed.
Doris is survived by her loving husband, her three adoring children, her treasured grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews who adored her.
As we say see you soon to Doris Elizabeth Medina, we take comfort in knowing that her love will continue to guide us. Her spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
Thank you, Mama, for being our everything, our entire world. We love you eternally.
For the Lord said, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of thy lord" Matthew 25:21
