Luis Adolfo Diaz Murralles, age 60, of Van Nuys, California, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Born in Guatemala, Luis built a life rooted in dedication, hard work, and love for his family and community.
For over 20 years, Luis worked in the catering industry as a cook, where he took great pride in his craft and brought people together through his food. His warm heart, strong work ethic, and generous spirit touched the lives of many.
Luis is lovingly remembered by his sons, Kevin Adolfo Diaz and Derrick Luis Diaz; his parents, Aura and Jorge Diaz; his brothers, Estuardo Diaz and Sergio Diaz; and his sisters, Patty Diaz, Sonia Diaz, and Ingrid Diaz.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Luis’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Van Nuys, located at 5940 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401.
Luis will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
