Matthew and I worked together at Amazon, HLA2, I had the honor to train drivers with Matthew, I have sooo many memories of us laughing together, we bonded over music and good vibes, we had a lot of mutal friends and it always felt like having family around. Matthew would play my music during load out, he was very supportive of my art and hes smile and good vibes is something i will always treasure, im at a loss of words. Even though we did not talk much after i moved out of cali, the memories are real all the laughs were real, and all the days in the scortching sun trainning were real. My heart goes out to the family, your son was very loved and made a huge impact on hundreds of people at Amazon and outside of amazon. I will rememer him as a ray of sunshine and will light a candle and pray in his name.

When I worked with Matthew at Amazon, it was only for a few months, but he left a lasting impression on me.

I was going through a difficult period with my mental health, and he was one of the few supervisors I felt comfortable opening up to. He never made me feel judged or like I was a burden. He listened with patience, treated me with kindness, and always seemed genuinely concerned about how I was doing. Those conversations meant more to me than he probably ever realized.

Matthew was the kind of leader who made people feel supported simply by being present. He showed compassion in a workplace where it can be easy to become consumed by deadlines and metrics, and I will always remember him for that.

Learning of his passing was heartbreaking. I only wish he had known how much his kindness and support meant to the people around him.

My deepest condolences go out to Matthew’s family, friends, and everyone who loved him. I hope they find some comfort in knowing that he made a meaningful difference in the lives of others, including mine.

Thank you, Matthew, for the kindness you showed me. I will carry it with me.

Although it’s been quite a while since we last talked, hearing about your loss truly broke my heart. Your humor and kindness are something I will always look back on, and I’m sure you continued to be that same person throughout the years.

I never imagined I’d have to say goodbye like this. I’m sadden to hear this happen.

I’m sorry we lost touch over the years but thank you for the laughs, the memories, and the moments we shared. Your friendship meant more to me than I may have ever said, and I’ll always be grateful that I knew you.

Hearing of your passing saddens me. We lost touch after high school when I moved out of town. High school was filled with great memories with you: last minute Dodger games, Laker Parades, basketball and soccer at the park and movies nearly every Friday at the Plant.

We spent a lot of time at your home too and so much of my memories of you were filled with laughter and happiness.
