May "Maya" Buenconsejo

May "Maya" Buenconsejo passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at the age of 60. Born in the Philippines, May lived a life filled with love, creativity, faith, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the people and communities around her.

May had a joyful spirit and many passions. She loved singing, dancing, photography, volunteering, and being part of her church community. She also enjoyed social media and content creation, exploring new foods, playing mahjong, Sudoku, and other brain games. She had a genuine love of learning, especially learning new languages and discovering different cultures and traditions.

May will be lovingly remembered for her vibrant personality, generous heart, creativity, and the many ways she brought joy to those around her. Her memory will continue to live on through the family and friends whose lives she touched.

May is survived by her beloved children: sons Mel Romero, Matthew Romero, and Kyle Peralta, and daughter Marla Peralta.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Emily Peralta Jamandre, Mason Peralta Jamandre, and Maeve Malaya La-arni Topongco Romero.

May is also survived by her sisters June Samano, Ann Vergara, and Ria Domingo, and her brothers Nilo Buenconsejo, Noel Buenconsejo, and Juvy Buenconsejo.

May's life was a beautiful tapestry woven from family, faith, friendship, creativity, and a love for discovering the world. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
