With love and admiration, the family of Bert Sherer, announce his passing on May 20th, 2015.
Predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret (nee Scarrow) and daughter-in-law, Rita, survived by his children Joan Broughton, Jim, Chuck (Glenys), Hugh (Dianne), and Don (Roswitha). Fondly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of New Vista Society for caring for Dad over the past 6 years.
A memorial service and celebration of Bert’s life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 602 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, on Saturday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m.
