I will always wish we had more time together.  I love and miss you dearly.  Thank you for taking care of me when I was young and being there as I grew up. Kau Fu,

I will miss you very much, Kau Fu.  My first trip to visit you with my mother was in the summer of 1978.  It was a special time for us visiting you and Kau Mou.  You greeted me with open arms and much love.  Your beautiful smile and splendid laughter made me feel at home.  I will remember all the delicious foods you prepared for us every day.  It made me feel very special.  I can tell that my mother (Lai Ha Jung) had a very special bond with her elder brother (ah Goh).  It made her very happy spending time with you.  I just wished we lived closer to each other.  I will also remember the other times you visited us in California, as well as when we came to see you several times in Vancouver.  I am glad that my daughter, Melissa, met her Great Uncle (Kau Gung) during those times.  

Kau Fu, you were a special person in our lives.  I will remember you as an exuberant person with great vitality and spirit.  I cherish all of the hand written Christmas Cards and pictures every year and have saved them all.  I shall miss your calls to my mother because it made her very happy and warm.

Kau Fu, may you rest in peace.  You are not leaving us because you will always be in our hearts.

I will miss you dearly.  Each time you called mom and me to talk, I could feel your bright spirit and smile through the phone.  Our conversations were always special and I loved hearing about your Mar-Jong winnings. You could be so funny at times.  I will miss hearing your voice!

I love when you and dad do your little bickering comedic routines it's the funniest thing ever.
