Alicia Salamanes Acupan

With heavy hearts we share the news of the passing of our loving mother, wife, and Lola, Alicia Salamanes Acupan on June 4, 2023 while surrounded by family. Alicia is survived by her loving husband Wandrilo; their daughters Wanisa, Angelyn and Alexandra; grandchildren Adrianna, Cataleya, Mailo, Isabella and Aletta; and and her siblings Segundo, Orlando, Emilia, Erano, Mario, Aileen, Edwin and Nora.

Alicia was known for her beautiful smile, tender loving heart and generosity towards her family and friends. She was always someone who you could count on to help whenever you were in need. She had a positive outlook on life which helped sustain her through adversity and inspired others in the process. She enjoyed long walks around the neighbourhood, singing and dancing, and sharing her cooking. A family party is never complete without her signature karioca dessert or fresh lumpia and black bean crab dishes. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her five grandchildren who she cherished and loved deeply.

Her dedication to her Catholic faith will continue to be upheld by the family as she always emphasized the importance of God in our daily lives. She will be missed by her loving family and friends – but her spirit will continue to live on –Mom, you will always be in our hearts forever.
