Andre Michael Vance Antone

With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Andre Michael Vance Antone on June 10, 2021. He was fondly known as Mike or Bush Daddy. Mike was born in Vancouver, on Jan 18, 1969 to his late parents Delphine Peters and Roger Antone. He resided in Seymour IR # 2 and grew up on Xwemelch’stn (Capilano) IR# 5. Mike attended Westview Elementary School, Queen Mary Elementary School, Cloverly Elementary School, and Keith Lynn Secondary School. Mike was the kind of person who never had any hate in his heart. Mike’s kids were his world he was able to go to outdoor school with his kids and family members. He spent a lot of time biking and fishing with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors especially the water and went on the Canoe Journey’s with Ayas Men Men and IFNU. Mike was a carver by trade. He was a land & water protector on Burnaby Mountain and LNG. Mike loved everybody with his whole heart and had friends from all over.

Mike is survived by and will be dearly missed by his loving children: Devon Archer-Antone, Michael Antone Jr., Selena Antone, Brandan Antone; siblings: G. ‘Janine’ Nahanee (Allen), Annette Sut’lut Antone (Zubi), Clarissa Antone, Roger Antone, Kurtis Antone, Chandra Antone, Henrico Antone, Cheyenne Nahanee; and many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, gaming buddies, relatives and dear friends.
