Andrew McMinigal

Andrew was born in Glasgow, Scotland on Mar 10, 1952, moved with the family to Western Australia as a teenager, and immigrated to Canada in his early 20’s. Andrew is survived by his loving wife Shimeng and beloved daughter Andrea who meant the world to him. He will be sadly missed by his brother Brian; sister-in-law Angela; niece Pauline, and Nephew Mark (Clare), all of Australia; by Shimeng's parents and three brothers and their families in China who loved Andrew dearly; and by many relatives, co-workers and friends in Canada, UK, Australia and China.

Andrew will long be remembered as a gentle soul with a big heart and dry sense of humour. His great passion for photography and anything natural and beautiful led him to stay with Kerrisdale Cameras for almost 29 years while enjoying travelling to many parts of the world and later on in his career the wedding photography.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff at St Michael’s hospice who helped Andrew complete his journey in comfort and with dignity.
