Ardeshir taught me how to work hard. His resolve was a bright light which I have been carrying with me for 25 years, and it gave me strength when things got hard. He told me that his students are his children. This is definitely true, in my case. — Boris Krivulin (aka Boris Reitman).

His Computer Science 101 course at Langara College in 1997 made me find my professional path. I was saddened to learn about his passing.

Ardeshir Bagheri was one of the primary driving forces in me becoming a software engineer.

His hard and focused teaching style helped instill discipline into my ethos and drove me to have this career alongside a passion for knowledge.

In the classroom he was a hard and disciplined, but outside of it he was very kind and gracious. It was quite the dichotomy, but it shows he was a kind man, one of passion and tremendous care to his students.

RIP.

Thank you Ardeshir for inspiring me to become a software engineer. I was a bit of a burnout when I started ACST and the seriousness with which you treated the material really triggered a deep interest for me and eventually led to lots of success in the industry.

I am writing this to inquire if this Ardeshir Bagheri was a professor at Columbia College and Langara College. If yes, I would like to give my condolences for his passing away. 
He was my Physics professor when I was in Columbia College 1989-1990. He was a tough professor, but he was my favourite professor, and the one who changed my learning method. I always considered him as one of the few teachers who significantly changed my life.  I am sad to find out about his passing away at such a young age. 
I am currently living in Indonesia. I hope someone from Mr. Bagheri' s family can contact me to confirm this.
