I hadn't spoken to Ari in several months but we always touched base a couple times a year since we no longer coached at VC any longer. My son's, who fondly remember Ari as one of their first line coaches at school, found out the tragic news upon their return from university two days ago. I am so saddened by this news and can't really believe it. Our sympathies go out to the family and Ari will be held in our prayers. I am saddened that I have learned of Ari's passing so long after the fact. I will miss him. He was a great man.

A very loving father and all round amazing man. I first met Mr. Mellios when he coached me in football and took an immediate liking to him. His sense of humor and warmth defined him a person of tremendous character. He will be incredibly missed by his friends and loving family.

My prayers are with all of you. He was 1 in a Million. I couldn't of asked for a better friend. I was blessed to call him my friend. If you ever need anything, I'm a call away.

Christinta and kids: mere words can not express our deepest sympathy. Ari was such a kind and gentle soul, never too busy for a kind word or a conversation with friends. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Mike, Chrystal and Brett Mihelic
