It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Beatrice Marcellina Carmelita Wells on July 9, 2021. Beatrice was born in Vancouver, on May 10, 1941 to her late parents Ellenore Bro and Benjamin Wells. She resided in Mission IR # 1 and grew up in Downtown Vancouver. Beatrice attended John Oliver Secondary School and Capilano College. She worked at Canada Metal. Beatrice could be seen all over the north shore on her little burgundy scooter. She was quite active in our community, she loved to be at the Elders Centre, attend Nation events and was big part in the Squamish Nation Membership Committee. She was always joking and fun to be around. Beatrice enjoyed playing Bingo and loved her neighbors. She loved her children, grandchildren and her fur babies.

Beatrice is survived by and will be dearly missed by her loving children: Michelle Kerrie Morissette (nee: Storjeoff), Randy Lloyd Storjeoff (Carrie), Casey Shane Storjeoff (Barb); grandchildren: Daniel Michael Morissette, Julian Bernard Morissette, Ryley Keith Ewing; nephews: Grant Shaver(Nyla), John Wells; special son: Bernie Morissette and many loving relatives and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held:

Service: 2:00 pm

Place: Squamish Nation Shaker Church
