Benjamin was beloved son of Stephen and Mary Bohnen, and cherished brother of Aaron, Jessica and Joshua. He was born and grew up in Vancouver, BC where he attended St. Patrick Elementary School and graduated from St. Patrick Regional Secondary School in 2006.

Ben's warm smile and kind heart quickly endeared him to many, as did his tendency to find humour and connection at any turn. He loved people and was a natural for the hospitality business where he spent much of his working life. He was happiest camping, sharing stories, laughing with friends and family, enjoying great meals and playing with his dog Bentley. 

Ben's kindness and love for others will be sorely missed, as will the radiant smile that beamed in his moments of joy. 

God bless you, we love you dear brother!

Our beloved Ben was always ready to break out in a laugh or smile. Humour was certainly one of his gifts.

Ben and I were like brothers in high school. 

He was kind, generous and always went to bat for his friends. He was the funniest and most charismatic person you'll ever meet, and endlessly optimistic. 

I love you brother. Rest easy.

I hope that Ben is at peace in heaven with his mom watching over his family and dog Bentley. He was a funny, caring man with a good soul and kind heart. He will be missed sorely and was deeply loved by many.

I imagine Ben and our mom together again, laughing and smiling at the world. Both are so dearly loved.
