There is no one we called "Dada" without attaching a name. Dr Sen was the only one whom we called Dada. With Rebadi (Ruby-di) they were a unique couple in our life. They occupied a place of deep trust, love and respect because of their qualities that complemented each other. We knew them in from Montreal days, and met more often on spiritual gatherings. When they left for Vancouver, we visited them
whenever we went to the west coast. However our ties were kept alive on phone calls, never forgetting birthdays and wedding anniversaries! Our last visit was two years ago at the senior home when we had dinner together. We knew that it might be our our last visit. Dada will remain in our hearts for as along as we live as a kind, generous and loving gentleman with mild manners and a smile, that brought us joy. We pray that his soul is immersed in peace and bliss. Our love and prayers to Som, Maya, Shipra, Ron and the grand children

Our family has always been on a different continent to Ben's so we could only see him every few years.  But every time we were in town, Ben together with Reba would invite us to their home and be wonderful hosts to us all.

It is a big loss to lose Ben and just a few months earlier Reba.  We will certainly miss them both and offer our sincerest condolences to Som, Maya, Katya and Kiron, Shipra, Ron, Greogry and Angeli as well as all other family and friends of Ben.

Ben, we will always remember your beautiful smile.  It lit up your face and made us always feel welcome.  From the time I met you in Montreal to the visits over the years in Vancouver, you were always interested in what was happening in our lives.

Your joy of children was always apparent with your own grandchildren. They all had a special relationship with you.  I know Cole always enjoyed being entertained by you - especially, your trick with the napkin.  He remembered it well, surprising us when he showed you the trick himself during our last visit.  He also referred to you as Dadu - you made quite the impression on him.

You have touched so many with your warmth, genuine spirit and love.  Rest in peace.

Ben we have a lot of warm memories to remember you by. I particularly enjoyed the many meals we were able to share together and some very stimulating discussions we had on various topics and issues over the years. 

Canada will also miss you for some of the leading research you had led and conducted for the pulp and paper industry, particularly when that industry was one of key components in the economy growth of Canada not that long ago.

Your consistently positive outlook and witty approach to life has enriched all members of my family as well as bringing our families so much closer to yours. For that we surely are profoundly in your debt.

Bishu Kaka as I used to call him was an inspiration for me to do better in life.  I had more opportunities to meet him when I was in school . The year he migrated was the year I joined college . After that it was occasional telephone calls and 3/4 personal meetings .  Whenever I used to speak to him , it used to be very reassuring !! My daughter had the same feeling when she had the opportunity to meet Him for about 4 yrs in Vancouver. I heard from my father (his first cousin from his father's side) , many a stories about his ability to handle adverse situations with ease and about his prowess in Chemistry . I had plans to meet him on my future visit to that continent, but it did not happen. I will keep missing the grand person. GOD BLESS HIS SOUL AND MAKE HIM HAPPY WITH A REUNION WITH HIS DEPARTED WIFE  (my Ruby Kaki)IN HEAVEN
