Chui-Ping Chen

1932-12-18 to 2022-10-21

Chui-Ping Chen, who was born in Taipei, Taiwan, peacefully passed at the age of 89 at Mount St. Joseph Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Zui Chu, as well as his four children and eight grandchildren.

He was the loving father of Lin, Jackson, Susan (John) and Morie (Eddie), and the proud grandfather of Derek,Vincent, Kevin, Nicole, Dorothy, Stephen, Michelle and Robert.

Having immigrated to Canada in 1982, he succeeded in realizing his life-long dream of providing a happy and prosperous life for his family. Chui-Ping will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, grandfather, hard-worker and humorist. Moreover, Chui-Ping had a unique talent in repairing various types of electronic equipment and fixing up broken cherished toys for his grandchildren. He left a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.

Chui-Ping’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday November 25, 2022, at 2pm at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home followed by a burial service at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver, British Columbia

距生於西元一九三二年十二月十八日，積瑞享壽八十有九。
