Czeslawa (Tess) Nowak, Czeslawa was born in Tomaszow, Poland on May 21, 1957, youngest daughter of Stanislaw and Aniela Nowak. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1963 and settled in Richmond, B.C. In her early twenties, she started a career with CP Air and 31 years later, retired with Air Canada. She was an avid golfer, racquetball and baseball player. Her preference was team sports, in which she played ball with the Omega and Tiago ball teams at the Meraloma Club and Airline tournaments. She had a large circle of friends; however, Janice, Joanie and Christy were her 3 BFF’s. They all enjoyed the 3 B’s (boys, beer & baseball), fine dining and travel. Along her journey, what started out as a good friendship with Shawn, eventually flourished into love and adoration for one another. They were inseparable; worked, golfed, pruned trees and traveled the globe together for close to 30 years. Tess also accepted with pleasure, to help raise our daughter Brianne and was very proud of her accomplishments. Tess was selfless, generous, kind and the life of the party. She loved to laugh and have a good time, she lit up the room. Regrettably, Tess’s life was cut short as she lost her battle to cancer on April 01/21. A special thanks to Janina and Dana in helping Tess deal with this disease. Tess is survived by her spouse Paul S.Farrall and her step daughter Brianne. She also leaves behind 8 siblings, Frank, Jan (Maria), Danuta (Stefan), Stella (Barry), Janina (Andre), Sigmund (Lisa), Robert (Jola), Mark (Irena). She is also a Ciocia (Auntie) to a great number of nieces and nephews. Tess will be celebrated in the post Covid days ahead. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory to “Mouth and Foot Painting Artists” would make her smile.
