In remembrance of Darren.

The world has lost a kind and beautiful soul. Darren was thoughtful,warmth,genuine and had such a big heart. His love for friends and family was felt through his actions.

He was very professional and hard working guy when comes to getting things done. Everyone at work admired by his calm and cheerful, warmth smile and his positive energy. He had brought much joy to the people around him.

Darren was a lovable, caring brother to both of us. We often have meals together and shared our times together. Often, we encouraged and support each others to whatever we are struggling or worries at times. He have been an inspirational and encouraging big bother to everyone.

You have inspired us to cherish and love everyone and each others "not by the quantity times spend but through the quality & value shared with each others that matters".

Our heart can not be whole or filled again; without you here to complete it. You will be missed greatly, brother.  

Our prayers and condolences are with you and your families. May God comfort you and be with you and your families during this very challenging time.

On behalf of the team at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, please accept our sincerest condolences.  Darren was a dependable and trustworthy team member and we will miss his bright personality. 

All the memories of us playing on the Strathcona Elementary School hockey team; how hard you worked in the corners and the joyous way you used to celebrate after every win; meeting you in the hallways each morning before class to try and finish our homework; and the havoc we caused bumper skiing along Jackson Avenue will always bring a smile to my face. Thanks for all the fries and gravy. 

Condolence to Michelle and family.  I knew Darren from the dialysis unit.  He was like a little brother to me.  From there, we found out that we both went to the same high school, Britannia High.  Imagine that!  Darren had an infectious laugh.  We often laugh at the way Michelle ate her popcorn….. which usually took 3 months to finish a small bag!  Rest In Peace, Darren.  

I am greatly saddened to have learned of Darren’s passing.  We had an odd kinship but it worked out really well.  In elementary school, you helped deliver the groceries that my parents bought from your family’s Chinatown store.  In high school you were the good tough guy who protected me from the bullies in return for me helping you pass your classes and graduate.  A few years ago you came to Vegas with the gang to be the MC at my wedding.  You will be missed, my dear friend, but not forgotten.  May you rest in peace.   Wayne Kwan

I don't have words to express how sad I felt when I heard Darren had left this world.   I will always remember his kindness and the  professional way he handled himself when we were co-workers at the Hilton.  Nothing was ever too much for him, and he would go above and beyond to get things done no matter who asked him to do anything.  He was a true gentleman, and a joy to see every day.  
You won't be forgotten, Darren.  May you rest in peace.
