David John was born in Vancouver, BC to Russell and Anne Ward on April 27, 1962. He is predeceased by both his parents and his grandmother, Emily William from the Bonaparte Reserve, near Cache Creek, BC. He is also predeceased by a brother, Russell Ward. He is survived by his brothers: Floyd William from Bonaparte and Herb Ward, his sisters: Georgina Russell from Bonaparte, Mary Ward, Penny Ward, and Karen Rac. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Although these brothers and sisters weren't raised together due to the Sixties' Scoop, he was never forgotten, and was cared for dearly. He will be missed by many.
