Deanna Lynn Levas

Obituary of Deanna Lynn Levas
IN THE CARE OF

Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home

Born August 3,1955 – July 9, 2025

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our cherished Nana, mother, and wife. After a courageous 3 and half year battle with cancer, she took her last breath in the arms of the love of her life of 53 years. She departed this world to join her daughter Stephanie who met her mom with a warm smile and big hug.

When we were young, we would call you by many names, Mama, mommy, mother, mom. Now that you are gone, we wish we could call your name one more time.

You raised 3 beautiful children, one was waiting patiently for you in heaven, holding your hand, whispering you aren’t alone, I’m here waiting for you. Don’t be afraid.

You were blessed with two beautiful grandchildren who will always understand the meaning of casino/karma. Because of you, Friday will always have special meaning in their hearts.

You were present in this world as our mother and Nana, and now you continue as our guardian angel.

Predeceased by her parents Mary and Chris Levas, and daughter Stephanie. She is survived by husband Mike; children Joanna (Norbert) and Michael (Mel); grandsons Michael and James; brother Mark Winters; sister Josephine Petosa (Steve); niece Joanna Petosa; nephew Henry Cain; great-nephew Grayson Petosa; and great-nieces Amelia Petosa and Cassidy Cain.

We Love you Nana / Mom
