Please accept my condolences on Deloreen's (Delores')passing.  We spent many of our early years together in Saskatoon at Princess Alexandra School, Bedford Road Collegiate Institute, UCY dances and at each others homes sharing confidences, happy and sad times - the kind of things that long friendships are built on.  Deloreen was my bridesmaid in 1961 and I will remember her as a generous, giving and caring friend. Vichnaya Pamyat'for a loving friend.

Although we had just reconnected this year, my memories are happy and vivid when remembering "Del".  Her personality was always an uplifting part of the day and her laugh filled any room she was in.  This was truly a "Good woman"  I will cherish the wonderful time we had together.

I'm going to miss her fun-loving spirit, and her boisterous laugh. We enjoyed gardening together and with a cider in hand admiring the hard work afterwards.  Sometimes there was evening with a fire in her chiminea, and her regaling me with stories, animals cuddled around us. I hope she has found her good friend Germain and are enjoying copious amounts of wine back in Perpignan, one of her favorite places in the world.  I'll miss you Del.  Love, Brenda
