It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Demetre Andriopoulos on February 3rd, 2025 at the age of 72. Demetre was a man of honour and a respected member of the Greek Community. His generosity, sacrifices and kindness will always be remembered by his family and friends.
Demetre lived a fulfilled life alongside his beloved wife of 50 years, Christina, his loving children, son Sotirios (Maria), daughter Mihalia (Haralampos) as well as six adored grandchildren, his brother, sisters, and many relatives. He was predeceased by his parents and sister.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 12pm at St. George's Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, BC. Officiants Father Nikolaos Sideras and Father Timoleon Prattas.
