Donna is sadly missed by family and friends. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta to Frank and Doris Stansfield. She moved with Mom and Dad to Vancouver in 1947. The Family settled here, and Donna attended Bayview elementary and Kitsilano High Schools. She graduated from UBC with a degree in education, and began a long and exceptional career as an elementary school teacher. Donna spent all her spare moments hiking, skiing, on water, camping or with family and friends.
She is survived by sister Jean Lofthouse (nee Stansfield), nephew Christopher Killips and niece Laura Killips Prie.
A Celebration of Life will be held
