One of the many memories of time spent in Swan Hills. You can see that Lionel is still enjoying hanging out with his Uncle Charlie and Uncle Louis.

This picture is from Whitehouse, June 2014. I first met Lionel when he was staying in Edmonton around 2007. He immediately made an impression on me with his character, his ready smile and his enormous appetite (he ate a couple steaks and 3 or 4 eggs that visit).   
Lionel faced a very tough circumstance but he fought it with all his strength. I am glad that I got to know him. God bless.  

Lionel you are and will always be loved by your family. We will miss your beautiful face and your amazing smile. But it helps to know that your Uncle Charlie and Auntie Dorothy are with you and looking after you.

Lionel brightened up any room he was in with his beautiful smile and his curiousity. He is 4 in this picture and he loved spending time with his Pepere, Uncle Warlie and Uncle Oolie (not pictured here).

In his years after high school our conversations were always around his sports…
