OBITUARY
Edmond Wong
October 31, 1933 – January 24, 2013
WONG, Edmond – It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the loss of a devoted husband, amazing dad, and the best goong-goong and ya-ya. Born on October 31, 1933 in Tao Sun, China, Edmond passed away on January 24, 2013. Immigrated to Canada in 1950, he dedicated his life to his family and to helping others. He was a kind and gentle man and his legacy to all whose lives he touched will be one of integrity, love and friendship.
He is survived and dearly missed by his wife of almost 55 years, Shirley; children Ruby, Irene (Andrew), Edwin, and Karen (Mark); grandchildren Lauren, Brooke, Matthew, Bryleigh, and Brayden, and fondly remembered by many family and friends. Special thanks to Marlene, Samantha and Tony for their tremendous love and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings St., Vancouver, BC. Interment to follow at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC.

"Chief" was a very kind man. I worked with him for quite a few years, and he was truly missed when he retired.Enjoyed seeing him at a couple of the Monthly dinners. So blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace Chief.
