He worked in government for many years, ultimately becoming the Manager of Data Processing, a role that reflected his keen mind and commitment to excellence. In retirement, Ed found joy in a new venture, owning and operating the Fermented Grape Winemaking Shop, where he shared his passion for winemaking and his love of connecting with others.
Ed is survived by his beloved children: Gary (Stephanie) Hepting, Dave (Jan) Hepting, Anita (Corey) Hepting, Darren (Chelsea) Baker, and Denise (Jamie) Baker. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary and his son Don (Mila). His legacy of warmth, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
