Eliot...you are dearly missed so very much   and loved so very much...you always forever more will be remembered and know you found your light..till all you touched...we will meet again in that beautiful meadow...know you always there for your loved ones...

have just heard the news. Eliot was in my English 359 class at SFU several years ago. In a group of quite talented students she stood out as someone very special. She was an absolutely exceptional student and a thoughtful, kind hearted, conscientious person. Words fail me: what a great loss to the world. 

I just reread a reference letter I wrote for Eliot when she was applying to teach English in Korea after our class. It brought back memories of the wonderful presence, humour and kindness Eliot brought to the people around her. She was such a special person. 

I can't express enough how my thoughts are with Eliot's close friends and family. I will always remember her and I know everyone she touched would say the same. 

Sending thoughts and prayers for her safe transition and solace for the family. You are in our thoughts.

Cat, I miss and love you so much. I've been thinking of all the memories we've shared together and I can't thank you enough for always being there for me. You held my hand when I was at my lowest and cheered me on when I was at my highest. I couldn't have had a better sister. If it wasn't for your straightforwardness and ability to never sugercoat anything, I wouldn't be the person I am today. You were truly a gift to this world and I can only hope one day more and more people will carry the same attributes and morals as you did. I am so blessed and happy that I was able to experience the unconditional love and care you had for people. You were an angel when you were here on earth and you still are whenever you are now. I know you are happy and free Cat and I know you are still looking after all of us. I promise to continue to make you proud, you will always be in my heart and will be the push when I am afraid to pursue something. I'll see you again, maybe not soon but when the time comes I can't wait to hug you. You always had the best hugs.

I'll miss you Eliot. Thank you for being a wonderful addition to our volleyball team, thank you for making our times fun and full of laughs. Thank you for being a cool and down to earth friend. Be at peace Eliot.

Eliot always was so gentle,polite,soft spoken and someone special you know could always rely on....she was full of pure light and now know watching over and sharing her guidance always to those around her.Gods child forever in the light.

Dear Eliot,  I want to thank you for always being kind, considerate, polite and very professional.  And for your family, friends, and loved ones I would like to say that I had the pleasure of teaching Eliot for one semester at BCIT but that was enough to leave a great impression on me, what a wonderful person. Eliot, I feel blessed to have known you if only just for a few months.  As one of the many instructors you had at BCIT in the last year, I know I am not the only one who had noticed the professional, quality, and creative hard work that you were doing for your assignments and projects.  You were a beautiful, talented young woman and the future would have held so many possibilities. Your friendly personality made a great impact on your classmates and on your teachers, including me. You will always be in my thoughts, and have inspired me and others to try to be the best to each other and to the world. My heartfelt condolences to Eliot's family and friends.  Eliot you will be missed SO much. Rest in Peace.

I can't believe you are gone. I wish I would have thought more often about you before your death. But I will be a better friend when we meet again
