Polansky, Rachel Evelyn, passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital on January 24, 2020 in the presence of her loving family after a long period of poor health. She will be lovingly remembered by all as a person with a kind and agreeable temperament. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Catherine (Ferguson) Polansky, and close aunt and uncle, Eva and William Yesinick. She is survived by her long time trusted and best friend, Wayne R. Lipskie, who never missed one day without being with her in the past four years; her brothers, Patrick Polansky of Estevan, Saskatchewan; and Ben (Jean) Polansky of Weyburn, Saskatchewan; nieces, Shana (Grant), Marnie and Carleen (Ryan) and their respective families of Regina, Saskatchewan. Special thanks to the staff at Mount St. Joseph long term care and St. Paul’s Hospital for the care given to Rae. There will be no funeral service. There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
