Fritz is survived by his loving family; his spouse Barbara, his son Dominic (Andrea), and his daughter Brianna.
Fritz will be remembered for his love of Montana where he was born and raised and the many pastimes he loved - fishing, playing piano and cello, lawn bowling, and his love of science fiction and of the opera.
Family and friends will hold a celebration of life around his birthday in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Cancer Society in memory of Fritz.
