age of 76. He is survived by his wife Kumi, and daughter Stephanie Erika. Gary was
predeceased by his parents Art and Eleanor, and his brother Robert.
Until retirement in 2003, Gary worked for CN Rail. Gary was an avid traveller. He went around
the world twice, and loved sharing his experiences about the places he visited and the people
he met along the way. He was an avid fan of the B. C. Lions, and attended all their home games.
He volunteered each summer at Bard on the Beach, and loved attending the performances.
Lawn Bowling was another pastime which he enjoyed. Gary was passionate about Curling. He
curled at the Marpole Curling Club from the age of fourteen until last year when he had to stop
because of poor health.
His family mourned his passing privately.
