He was born on the 6th of December, 1937 in Nemea, Corinthia, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1956.
He is survived by his beloved wife Calliope, and three sons Peter, Constantine (Constantina and grandchildren Phoebe, Lydia, and Elektra), and Alexander (Laura and grandchildren Sophie and Zoey).
Funeral service will be held at St George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral (4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver) on Wednesday, 18th of September, 2024 at 11:30am. Reverend Nikolaos Sideras officiating. Burial to follow later this month in Greece.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hellenic Community of Vancouver in memory of George Bonnis. May his memory be eternal.
