George Theodoropoulos

January 29, 1940 to February 16, 2025.

George passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, February 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

George is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife Christina, his children Sophia (Panos), Athanasia (Rui), Panagiotis (Renee), and his loving grandchildren Zachary, Giulianna, Isabella and Christos.

Prayers will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 7:00 pm at St. Nicholas and Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4541 Boundary Road, Vancouver, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4 at 11:00 am.

Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby.

Broken Chain

We little knew that morning

God was going to call your name,

In life we loved you dearly

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you

You did not go alone,

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories

Your love is still our guide,

And although we cannot see you

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one

The chain will link again.
