Georgina Ramos

Georgina was born on Jan 07, 1938 to Konstadinos and Sophia Georgas in Nemea, Greece. She was one of seven children: John; Bill; Jim; Nick; Nicki; Frank;.

She moved to Australia in 1960 and came to Canada in 1965 where she married the love of her life Frank Ramos in 1969. Georgina is survived by her two children Michael and Dinos Ramos, her daughter-in-law Jennifer Ramos, and two grandchildren Julia and Alexander Ramos. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and kindness to all that came across her path along her life’s journey. Her ability to bring people together with her fabulous love of food, and the need to feed everyone around her will always be remembered by anyone who had the privilege to sit down for one of her meals.

Her departure comes as a shock to all of us and is a deep wound gravely felt by her entire family and friends.

Prayers will be held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 at 6:00 pm at St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13th at 11:00 am.
