I just found out of her passing. She used to come into store I worked at, at least twice a week and was always so fun to talk to and a very sweet person. Sending all of my love to her loved ones. 

I first met Gracie years back when she did some modelling for one of my photography projects, from there I learned she was starting a hair salon, Gracie would go on to cut my hair for what seemed like 5yrs, she was amazingly talented, funny and always kind to me, I loved hearing about her life adventures. I am sad to hear of her passing, she will truly be missed.

Beautiful bird, you left so soon. Thank you for your boldness and for your kindness. You surely left your mark on this world and I’m grateful to have been witness. Blessings to you on your journey. Travel well Love. 

My beautiful Gracie, God took you way to soon perhaps he needed you for greater things . I was always proud of you and I hope I told you a thousand times,.Our many discussions on different views of life, music and family, were therapeutic. To your family, you are all in my thoughts and prays, Gracie loved her nieces and nephew she was always excited to see them for family gatherings. sleep peacefully my darling we will meet again. Oh Gracie, you were such a light. You made me laugh, take myself way less seriously. Take more risks (even with my hair ; ), and finally go to the burn  (sort of)  prepared.  Thank you for making me just a little bit braver than I was alone without you in my life. 

You were such a generous spirit inviting everyone into your life that wanted a place to hang, show who they were, showcase their art, talents, playfulness, music, savvy, silliness, sadness and joy. 

You were always immediately open to what makes us most human, acceptance and love. Thanks you for gifting that to me and so many others.

Grace had a special sparkle and was a wonderful neighbour to have in our west end apartment building.  Many who live here, will miss seeing her wonderful smile coming and going as always a pleasure whenever one encountered her. Lovely aura to be around, rest in peace.

Karen, Bruce and family, I Really do not know what to say on this such a sad occasion, just that my heart felt sympathy is with you at this time and I pray the Lord God our father will give you the ”peace that passes all understanding”, and that Gracie is in a better place.

I have known Gracie for many years. I first met her right after she finished hairdressing school, and she had been cutting my hair ever since. I always enjoyed her personality, her sense of humour and her zest for life and adventure. We shared so much of our lives and our feelings over the years, always chatting throughout my haircut. She was an amazing , brave young woman who had so much talent, and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I send my condolences to her  family in this time of great loss.
