Grant passed away at the age of 56. He was a resident of Vancouver, BC. Grant is remembered as a kind, compassionate soul whose willingness to help anyone in need. His love for the outdoors was apparent to everyone who knew him.
Unfortunately, Grant faced the heavy burden of addiction, a disease that eventually took his life. Despite the challenges, the family cherishes the many moments of joy and sobriety they shared.
Grant is now at peace and his memory will live on through the lives he touched.
Grant is survived by his daughter Shelby Swanson, his son Gavin Hagerty, sister's Laura Swanson, Stephanie Holmberg, former wife and good friend AnnMarie Yates, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
