Eulogy
Ms. Hang Fong Ng was born in Toishan County, Guangdong Province, China in 1934. She was born post war era in a poor family and only had elementary school education. In order to reduce the burden on the family, she agreed to an arranged marriage with the husband from Hong Kong. Unfortunately, her husband did not take care about the family. She became the sole income source of the family raising three children on her own.
In addition to taking care of her children, she also had to work full time to earn a living. She valued the education of her children. No matter how difficult her life was, she tried to find part-time jobs to ensure that her children can pursue their education. She was frugal and rarely spent money on herself, but she never hesitated for the needs of her children.
When her daughter married and immigrated to Canada, Ms. Ng decided to also immigrate to Canada for a better future for her two sons. After arriving in Vancouver, she took care of her grandchildren during the day and worked in restaurants at night. She was grateful to see that all her children had their own achieved success. She was a hard-working soul, and when she was retired, she enjoyed the blessings of her extended family.
Without the burden of supporting the family, she followed her daughter to the church to attend sermon and to get to know the Lord Jesus. Later, she accepted the Lord Jesus as Savior. At the end of 2014, she was baptized at Vancouver Chris Church of China. On December 2, 2019, she returned to the Lord at the age of 85.
