James Ernest Burrows passed away on November 30th, 2022 at the age of 100. Jim was preceded by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth Robinson (nee Smith) and then by his wife, Patricia (Alexander). Jim joined the RCAF with his brother in 1941 and began a career in aviation which would end with his retirement in 1978 as a Captain with Air Canada.
He was a wonderful father to his daughters, Sue and Pam and his son, Jim and a grandfather and friend to his eight grandchildren and his fifteen great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
A private family celebration of life will be held in the future.
The family requests that, if desired, donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
