John Torosoff

TOROSOFF, John of Vancouver, B.C., passed away peacefully, on December 15, 2013, age 85 years. Survived by his son, John (Anne); sister-in-laws, Rose (Des), Mary (Wes) and Pat; brother-in-law, John (Ann); sister Luba; special friends, Donny (Jennie); many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne; daughter, Johanne; sisters, Mildred and Lenore. John loved to be with his family and good friends and kept them entertained with his good sense of humour. John was a Carpenter and Bridgeman by trade and loved to build things both at work and on his own time. John’s fondest memories were of camping and fishing trips with his wife and children. John will be sadly missed by his family, friends and neighbours. Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to a Service of Remembrance on Friday, January 10th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser St., Vancouver, B.C. Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating. The family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors at the VGH hemodialysis unit for the loving care they provided to John over the past 7 years.
