I have many fond memories of my childhood, thanks to you. I still remember your teachings about food wastage is a bad thing when I once tried not to eat the food  from a packet rice and spread it out hoping that you will not see. You may have been a firm nanny but through you, I realise the importance of not wasting food.

I know life has thrown at you many bitter lemons and I am glad to see you have had a blessed life when you moved to Canada. Thank you for visiting us in Singapore a few years back. The reconnection meant a lot to us. Thank you mimi...

I have known Kam Ying Gu since I was a young boy. My grandmother ( Chew Tau Liao or Lam Sin Nai ) used to take me to Elim Gospel Hall (Chinese Section). 
Kam Ying Gu, my Grandmother and Miss Ding Tuan Sing used to visit homes of unbelievers, to preach the Gospel to them and also to visit the sick Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Kam Ying Gu will come to our house very often, to visit my Grandmother, especially when she was sick. She was a very sweet lady, gentle and jovial.
The last time I saw her was in the year 2012, during our Aunty’s wake and funeral.
During this time I realized we are related, through my brother in law Siew Koo Heng. (We are Lo Kum) My family and I extend our deepest condolences to the Children and their family members on the demise of Kam Ying Gu.
May her soul rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord. The  Lord has  promised “ Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” 
Till we meet again.

In my memory, she was a very kind and helpful elder to me. I will miss her forever, rest in peace.

Aunty Siew has dedicated her life to serving God, family and friends. She is a strong, determine, kind and caring lady. Always  joyful, calm and praise God even during her down time. May God rewards her upon her departure . We miss her dearly indeed.

Kam Ying Gu was known to me since childhood as she was a well-beloved sister-in-Christ with my grandma, "Lam zinai" and my mother-in-law, "Loong zinai", and I know she was very devoted in serving the Lord.   She always had a smile on her face, and she treated the young and old alike.  Glad we had the opportunity to meet up with her through Flisa, in Vancouver in Sep 2016.

My deepest condolences to the family of Kam Ying koo. I used to accompany my grandmother at the Ladies' Fellowship at Elim Gospel Hall (Chinese) on a few Friday afternoons. Kam Ying koo was a faithful & dedicated sister who led the ladies in bible study and prayer. That was about 25 years ago and I still remember her. Now my grandmother & she are reunited in heaven. One day we will all be reunited too. That is the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

Our dear Sister Lee Kam Ying, commonly referred to as "Kam Ying Gu" (Auntie Kam Ying) by us, began gathering and serving God in  Ipoh Elim Gospel Hall Chinese Assembly in 1948, continuing until 2012 when she moved to Canada. Over these past sixty-plus years, she had a wonderful fellowship with the brothers and sisters of the church, serving together, experiencing peaks and valleys, sharing laughter and tears, leaving behind many beautiful memories. Sister Kam  Ying was passionate and able to get along with brothers and sisters of all ages. She enthusiastically participated in various church ministries, especially in caring and visiting works, as well as serving among the sisters, setting an example of faith and love for us. She served as a church deacon from 1990 to 2009, actively assisting in leading the church and frequently encouraging and uplifting the younger generation of believers.

Now, Sister Kam Ying has rested in the arms of the Lord. We can no longer see her familiar figure, hear her hearty laughter, and receive her careful advice. Our hearts deeply feel the loss, but we are comforted that she has ceased from her labors and rests peacefully in the hands of the Lord, enjoying the eternal blessings of heaven. May the works she did for the Lord during her lifetime be established by Him, and may the beautiful deeds follow her.

On behalf of the brothers and sisters of Ipoh Elim Gospel Hall, we pay tribute and express gratitude to Sister Kam Ying. We also extend condolences and prayers to her family, praying that God continues to watch over and guide them.

I will always remember Aunty Siew’s smiles and kindness! I have never ever heard a harsh word from her. She was like a second mum to me in my younger days. Thank you and RIP, dearest Aunty Siew!

I remember spending many good hours at Auntie Siew's house when I was a teenager, being friends with Lawrence and Simon. She would always include us to eat if it was a meal time. She was a very good cook. She was always a very kind and caring person. God bless her kind heart.

Mrs Siew has left lasting imprints of love and faith in everyone she has met.  She is home with Jesus the One who is her source of joy and strength throughout an extraordinary & fulfilling life.
