In 2001, he went back to Japan to work for Japan International Food for Hungry for 3 years. After returning to Vancouver, he started a church planting mission for Japanese people in the basement of the Tenth Church for 10 years until he retired.
He enjoyed many hobbies through out his life. He loved playing tennis and the saxophone. He loved Jesus and touched many people’s lives through his ministry.
The family thanks the staff at St. John Hospice and Raven Song Community Health Center for their compassionate care.
He was a dedicated pastor, husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, friend, and saxophone player. He will be greatly missed. We know he is enjoying being a part of the greatest band in heaven surrounded by angels.
