Our heartfelt condolences to the family of Kenji Shibata.  We have many fond memories of our family get-togethers during our visits to Vernon when we lived in Kelowna.  We remember Kenji's marriage to Tsuru, our mother's cousin,  a very special day that connected our two families.   Kenji and Tsuru continued to stay in touch - when they moved to Prince Rupert, raised a family, and eventually moved to Burnaby.  We will always remember Kenji's gentle nature and his kindness toward our family.  May he rest in peace.
